before a Bespoke session …

Firstly it is important we lock in your preferred date and time, especially during busy seasons like school holidays which are very popular. Once we have booked you in, then we can commence planning and tailoring the shoot for you. We will have a pre-session consultation either by telephone, video call or appointment to discuss your session, any special requests, props, clothing and the style of the shoot. We might also do a pre-fitting depending on your chosen session. Your shoot will be tailor made to be reflective of your child’s personality and interests to ensure Michelle is able to capture the essence of who your child is and create the magic we are after. A 50% deposit is required to secure your booking. Deposits are non-refundable but fully transferable.

the session …

This is the fun part! When you arrive at the studio, Michelle will get to know your child and go through the clothing, finalise styling options and then your child can start getting pampered by either our hair + makeup artist or creating fabulous moments with Michelle! Then it’s our job to make your child feel as comfortable and excited in front of the camera as possible. We prefer to not rush the session as every child and session is different. This allows Michelle to bring the most out of your child, provide time for different clothing options, various combinations of portraits, especially if there are siblings or family members, create amazing hairstyles and get each subject feeling comfortable and relaxed and loving their experience!

after the session …

After your shoot, we will arrange your viewing in the studio. This is where you will see the images for the first time after your shoot. Here you can choose the images you love and want to keep without any obligations or minimum spend. This gallery of images will be ready to view approximately 2 weeks from your session date.

Your images will be carefully selected, prepared and then presented to you at the studio in a variety of hand crafted black + white and colour options. Michelle is there to guide you and discuss the various options to display them in your home. Please allow 1-2 hours for this session.

Every photograph is printed on the best archival fine art paper stocks. These have been personally sourced by Michelle in conjunction with the most beautiful frames and products to best display your artworks. Our suppliers are the best in Sydney working in conjunction with major galleries, museums and exhibitions. Each photograph is hand signed, one of a kind and will last a lifetime.
